MÜNKER – web-design, UX/UI, e-commerce

Project scopewebsite including web-specials, content pages, e-commerce-integration, local SEO.

Deliverablesconcept, design, UI framework, content assets, front-end-development

Designed & developed withFigma, Shopify, HTML/CSS/JS in Visual Studio Code

Challengecombining local brand building with e-commerce for a non-digital native user group

Solutioncompletely customized theme in shopify, clear entry and navigation. Ensuring readability. Extra store icon to get all relevant local store information at any time.

The family business runs several perfumeries and fashion stores. The goal of the website launch was to build a modern, personal and local brand in the digital space. It had to appeal to a certain older non-digital-native user group – for example, paragraphs are at least 18px to ensure readability. But the experience had (at least) to be contemporary – for example, it features logo animations for special occasions. Also, all store locations including addresses and phone number purposefully sit in the footer to enhance SEO. The e-commerce will be build out in the following months. All-responsive layout, fullscreen aesthetic.
The website just launched – parfuemerie-muenker.de.

Personality, aesthetic photography and clarity are the fundamentals of the design and experience.

Storytelling: the company’s portrait is a complete rollout of its history. This meant searching the entire photo catalog of the last 100 years. Everything is brought to live using the whole viewport.

Accenture – Talent Brand Campaign “You are change“

Creative Lead: Art Direction, Motion Design.

Designed in: Adobe After Effects, Sketch, Photoshop and InDesign (for some print assets).

The yearlong campaign comprises mostly animated but also static motifs in various formats. Artificial lights and saturated colours define the visuality. The purple brand color pops up in every motif but is not overloaded in the overall concept, thus bringing the brand to live in multiple vibrant color palettes while keeping the brand signature color. Roll-out across various mediums and channels, including Digital Out-of-Home and social channels.

Also part of the campaign were three 45sec spots produced in a LED-Cave used mostly for sci-fi cinema productions. The testimonial spots highlight the digital yet human feel and future-focused brand experience to present Accenture as a desirable employer brand for a young and diverse generation. Art directing the video production was a great but exciting challenge due to the unusual studio setting.

Digital Out-of-Home.

Three testimonial spots (Art Direction):

Sceneries for the spots were filmed in Munich, Zurich and Vienna. The final footage with the testimonials themselves was then taken in a LED-Cave to emphasize color and lighting and create time illusions by playing the backdrop-footage at different speeds than real time. There are three full-length and various cutdown versions for use in organic and paid social media feeds. Shown below is one full-length spot and two cutdown versions.

SPD Berlin election campaign – art direction and motion design

Motion Design and part art direction. Template design for social postings.

Designed in: Adobe After Effects, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop.

Due to the time-sensitive and reactive nature of election campaigns the design and building of assets was dependent on a very tight and spontaneous schedule.

Template for Social Media Carousels and faster outputs.
